Before we take on any new clients, we go through an interview process, to make sure we both know and agree on what our responsibilities are as a Ghostwriter and as a Client. Then we will proceed with a confidential consultation, where we will sign a confidentiality clause, and discuss the project at hand.

We will also discuss what your expectations are, time frame, a description of the work we will be doing, how much will be paid and the format in which it will be paid. (e.g., in certain amounts throughout the duration of the project); your deadline; and who will own the copyright to the book, which is (always the client.) You will sign a termination and indemnification clause.

Once everything is agreed upon and all documents have been signed, we will begin to write your story.

We have three different options to choose from when telling your story, which we will discuss during the confidential consultation. 

Once all of the chapters are completed, and approved, we will create one “master” document that includes everything—the final draft—and send it to you for one last review. After you sign off on the manuscript our journey is complete, and when the book is published your work as an author begins.

Memoir average word count is 75,000-90,000 words

Memoir average price range starts at $20,000 and up.

The deposit amount to begin writing your memoir is 15% of the average price quoted.
